Seyran Ohanyan Denies Allegations
Former Deputy Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan has described the information published on armlur.am titled "What the Investigators Were Interested in Seyran Ohanyan" and subsequently on aravot.am as "a blatant misinformation and provocation." According to him, the articles suggest that he has spoken about the technical aspects of the 0038 order during the interrogation related to the charges brought in the March 1 case.
In a post on his Facebook page, Ohanyan stated:
“I deny these allegations and consider them an obvious provocation. Every self-respecting journalist must present facts to prove the truth and objectivity of their words; the mentioned articles do not provide any documents or recordings.”
He further raised questions regarding the legality of the sources used by the media outlet, saying, “Moreover, considering the confidentiality of the investigation materials, I wonder what source the media has for this information and why they do not publish the document that would serve as evidence.”
“This 'creative essay' that conveys nothing, in my opinion, aims to distract the public from my latest Facebook post, to which an audio recording is attached that serves as objective evidence of the directed persecution against me, followed by fabricated charges. The publications on this topic in various media can be regarded as a directed logical continuation of all this,” he concluded.
