Rescue Workers Discover Body in Yerevan Apartment

On January 16, at 11:59 PM, the emergency service received a call indicating that a resident of an apartment at 1 Saryan Street in Yerevan was not responding to knocks on the door and phone calls; assistance from rescue workers was needed.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia, a firefighting rescue team was dispatched to the scene.

The rescuers opened the apartment door and found the body of M. Ch. (born in 1949) on the living room couch.
