Regional Governors Dismissed from Office

The Governor of Tavush, Vahe Ghalumyan, and the Governor of Shirak, Karen Sarukhanyan, have been dismissed from their positions. The decision was made during today’s government meeting.

It is worth noting that both were elected as members of the National Assembly during the extraordinary parliamentary elections held on December 7.

The report on the decision was presented by Suren Papikyan, the Minister of Territorial Administration and Development of Armenia.
