Difficult and Closed Roads in Armenia
As of January 17 at 09:00, there are difficult and closed roads in the territory of Armenia. The Vardenyats Pass is closed.
The Sotk-Karvachar road is closed for heavy vehicles, while it is difficult for passenger vehicles to navigate.
Roads leading to the villages of Mirak and Charjik in the Aragatsotn region are difficult to pass.
There are patches of black ice in the regions of Shirak, specifically in Ashotik and Amasia, as well as in the Aparan and Aragats regions of Aragatsotn.
In the cities of Sisian and Kajaran in the Syunik region, snow has fallen, along with the Aparan and Aragats regions of Aragatsotn, in Shirak, in the towns of Vardenis in Gegharkunik, and in Spitak and Stepanavan in Lori. Snow is also present on the Sotk-Karvachar road.
There is fog in the area known as "Meghru Sar" in the Syunik region.
In the Ashotik region of Shirak, there is a snowstorm. Drivers are advised to use winter tires exclusively.
