The Court Will Announce its Decision on Changing Kocharyan's Bail Conditions on January 18

The proceedings regarding the bail conditions of the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, have concluded at the Yerevan General Jurisdiction Court. The court will announce its decision on January 18.

This was stated by Vahagn Muradyan, Head of the Department for Oversight of Particularly Important Cases of the Prosecutor General's Office, during a briefing with journalists.

“The discussion of the motions from both parties has concluded. The parties expressed their positions. The court has retired to the deliberation room to make a decision. The ruling will be announced on January 18 at 17:30,” Muradyan remarked.

It is important to note that the Yerevan General Jurisdiction Court had previously rejected the motion from Robert Kocharyan's defense regarding the recusal of the judge overseeing the bail conditions, Arthur Mkrtchyan.
