Meeting Held Between Mnatsakanyan and Mamediarov

Today in Paris, a meeting took place between the Acting Foreign Minister of Armenia, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, and the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mamediarov, facilitated by the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group: Igor Popov, Stefan Visconti, and Andrew Schofer. Also participating in the meeting was the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Andrzej Kasprzyk.

During the four-hour meeting, the two sides discussed a wide range of issues related to the peace process, including preparing the peoples for peace, security, and regional sustainable development.

The Foreign Ministry's press office reports that new dates for further meetings have not yet been confirmed; however, the Foreign Ministers agreed to continue consistent and targeted contacts in the coming months.
