I Will Not Structure My Speeches Based on Who the Ambassador's Assistant or Son Is Sitting in the Parliament: Babajanyan
Arman Babajanyan, a member of the Luys (Light) faction, referred to Andranik Manukyan as an example in a press briefing, addressing the debate that arose after his speech in the National Assembly.
"I will not structure my speeches based on who the ambassador's assistant or son is sitting in the parliament. Ambassadors must be held accountable for their actions before being appointed and conduct their work based on the proposals they have previously presented," he said, emphasizing that his speech aimed to review the practice of ambassador appointments.
Earlier, Babajanyan discussed past foreign policy appointments in his speech, specifically noting that over the years, individuals with dubious biographies and criminal backgrounds have been appointed as ambassadors by Armenia, highlighting a prominent example in the former ambassador to Ukraine, Andranik Manukyan.
It is also worth mentioning that Andranik Manukyan's son, Davit Manukyan, is a member of the Prosperous Armenia faction.
