The Prime Minister's Office Received an Unprecedented Number of Written Inquiries from the Media: Eduard Aghajanyan
"I would like to inform you that in 2018, the Prime Minister's Office of the Republic of Armenia received an unprecedented number of written inquiries from the media, approximately 130, of which only 2 went unanswered," wrote Eduard Aghajanyan, the head of the Prime Minister's Office, on his Facebook page.
"The number of inquiries has nearly doubled compared to previous years. Furthermore, this figure does not include the number of verbal inquiries, which have also been numerous. For comparison, in 2016, the Prime Minister's Office received 71 inquiries from the media, responding to over fifty. In 2017, 85 inquiries were received, with responses provided to 59 of them.
Considering the post-revolution period, there could have been certain shortcomings in the Prime Minister's Office, which will be minimized in the future, as we have adopted a policy of maximum transparency in governance and accountability," he wrote.
