The Foundation Established by Taron Margaryan to Be Liquidated

The Yerevan-2800 cultural foundation, established by former Yerevan mayor Taron Margaryan and his team, is set to be liquidated soon. The newspaper "Zhoghavorud" reports that the Yerevan-2800 cultural foundation filed a request for liquidation with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction on January 11.

It should be noted that the website "Yerevan2800.am" is also no longer operational, having begun its activities on May 4 of the previous year. Furthermore, it was disclosed that in November of last year, the Yerevan Municipality accepted property valued at 47 million 463 thousand drams as a donation from the "Yerevan 2800" cultural foundation. This amount was spent on acquiring chess clocks, stones, figures, and photo albums dedicated to Yerevan for events commemorating the 2800th anniversary of the city.
