Peskov Reveals How Putin Receives His Pension and Salary

Russian President Vladimir Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov has revealed how Putin receives his salary and military pension.

According to him, Putin’s salary is transferred to a card from a Russian bank that is under U.S. sanctions.

“As for the salary, it is determined by presidential decree, as is the salary of the Prime Minister,” he said.

As reported by gazeta.ru, Peskov has stated that the president's income has increased from the sale of real estate.

The press secretary did not specify the amount of the president's military pension, admitting that he does not know it. According to the press secretary, the head of state rarely uses cash. “This happens once or twice a year, for example, when he goes skiing and visits a mountain café where cash is required,” he said.
