Pashinyan Addresses Citizens

There has been no redistribution of property in Armenia, including in the media sector. This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a Facebook live session.

“I want to point out that 90 percent of the media is either owned by representatives of the former government or by us, the opposition forces. There are mainly two subjects from the former government who own the media outlets. In this regard, the situation is exceptional, as the authorities do not own the media. To say that there is no difference, that this government is the same as the Republican Party, is completely unfounded. This is supported by irrefutable evidence. Why irrefutable? For example, it is said that the former prime minister also had two ears, one nose, one mouth, and two eyes. This prime minister has the same. This is done to show that absolutely nothing has changed in the country,” said the Prime Minister.

Pashinyan noted that members of his family have also become targets.

“They say, can you imagine, the prime minister is getting on a helicopter; can you imagine, the prime minister should go on a donkey. The deeper meaning here is to show that nothing has changed in Armenia, that the country will not become a country,” said the Prime Minister, adding that there is a difference between the current and former governments.
