After the 'Battle', Enfiajyan Gave Flowers to Mane Tandilyan
Opposition Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Vahe Enfiajyan presented flowers to Mane Tandilyan after the 'battle' for the election of the Vice Speaker.
It is noteworthy that 108 lawmakers voted in favor of Enfiajyan's candidacy, while 19 voted for Tandilyan.
Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the 'Enlightened Armenia' party, also addressed this vote, stating that the name of the lawmaker who voted for Mane Tandilyan will be written in golden letters in history regarding the position of Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly.
According to Marukyan, it is highly probable that the lawmaker who voted for Tandilyan is from the 'My Step' alliance.
Regarding the possibility that it might have been their former party mate (Hayk Konjoryan, who was elected as a deputy in this Assembly from the 'My Step' list), Marukyan did not rule it out.
As for the overall picture of the voting, Marukyan characterized it as disgraceful.
“To me, it was a disgraceful vote because I believe that the arguments we presented for why Tandilyan should be the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly were not refuted in any way,” he said.
