The Government Is Shifting Its Burden onto Us: Marukyan

The government is trying to shift its burden onto us. This was stated by Edmond Marukyan, the leader of the Bright Armenia faction, during a conversation with journalists.

"Let the people be the judges, meaning what are we supposed to do? They tell us, why aren't you negotiating with the BHK? The government is trying to impose its burden on us. There is a public debate, there are two candidates, and there is competition; this is politics. Now the political majority should decide whom they are choosing. That is why I told the BHK in my message that I have no fight with you. You have a candidate, it is illogical to ask you for votes," he said, adding, "They have resolved the issue among themselves that the deputy speaker of the National Assembly should be from the BHK."
