"I am not ashamed to have been a laborer": Eduard Babayan

"I came here to work, and you will see my work – how I work," said Eduard Babayan, a deputy from the Prosperous Armenia Party, during a conversation with journalists today.

When asked which committee he envisions himself in, Eduard Babayan stated that he sees himself in the defense sector.

Regarding the remark that he has gone from being a laborer to a deputy, Eduard Babayan replied: "I am not ashamed to have been a laborer; I have been the head of a labor group, and if 7000 people have trusted me, what does it matter that I was a laborer? The people have brought me here."
