When Will Armenia Free Itself from the Dependency on Upper Lars? - 'Zhamanak'
According to the 'Zhamanak' newspaper, 'By the end of February, it is possible that the border crossings with Abkhazia and South Ossetia will be operational. The Georgian authorities are establishing an interagency commission that will deal with the implementation of the Georgian-Russian agreement concerning the monitoring of cargo movement at the Abkhazian and Ossetian border crossings. The commission will be headed by the Deputy Head of the Revenue Service.'
'On November 30 of last year, Georgia transferred the funds due to the Swiss TGS company, which was to engage in technical preparation. According to the agreement, the technical preparation phase will last for three months.'
'It can be assumed that after the end of this period, by the end of February, the border crossings will finally begin to operate, and Armenia's economy will be freed from dependence on the Upper Lars crossing.'
