Illiterate Doctor Is Already a Diagnosis

My FB friends paid quite a bit of attention to my previous post concerning the "very warm" treatment at the polyclinic adjoining the Saint Gregory the Illuminator Hospital.

I present it below

(As much as our Ministry of Health swears that the viral situation is under control... I don’t believe it. Unfortunately, we have a severe acute respiratory disease situation here. I would say a disgraceful situation. This is evidenced by the queues in pharmacies and polyclinics. There are many patients in hospitals suffering from this disgusting virus with multiple complications. You can somehow adapt to all this, but I WILL NOT tolerate the presence of a CATTLE doctor. Listen, as a parent, I am not guilty that my child is sick, and I am forced to turn to you. But I do not allow any doctor to offend me, nor will I. Send a message to acting Minister Torosyan that the polyclinic next to Saint Gregory the Illuminator Hospital remains the same as it has been, a place for the homeless. The director cannot be thrown out like that. Gather these people in one place and explain to them that if they wear white coats and call themselves doctors, they are obliged to serve all sick children, regardless of age, the acquaintance with the mother, and from the fact that there are many patients. And another unfortunate circumstance is the age of the nurses. It is the 21st century... the service is like in prehistoric times.)

And now about my stress today: Since the last time the radiologist did not manage to answer on time and our doctor went home, the on-duty doctor prescribed the medication. My child naturally took this prescription for two days. And I am not one of those mothers who take it upon themselves to make prescriptions on the internet. But perhaps I should be just such a mother. Today, after waiting an hour at our local doctor’s, by the way, in the polyclinic where there are dozens of sick children and queues, I finally managed to meet our main doctor. Aside from the heavily overloaded situation of doctors, another problem is the PUSHY mothers. They are not at all interested that you are in line, that your child is also sick; they come and push straight to the doctor. If you didn’t know that, let me tell you... mothers of infants up to 1 year old do not stand in line. And their number is quite high. It turns out that you sit waiting for hours. Fortunately, nothing serious is wrong with Narek, and as a nervous mom, I managed to stop the process from starting. But... the on-duty doctor prescribed Azimak 500 without the antifungal or naringenin, and Parlazin was supposed to be taken once a day, but it was prescribed for two. Well, how long can this go on? And this is at a time when my child has a MUC diagnosis and every medication must be prescribed very carefully to avoid causing other issues. I have never swung this fact like a flag and maybe I was wrong. Now a lot will change regarding the queue in the polyclinic, and concerning prescriptions and service. There is a corresponding stamp on the card, and my child should be served out of turn, free of charge, and without complaints.

But for my nervous well-being, I will probably find another pediatrician and despite having been serviced at the polyclinic next to Saint Gregory the Illuminator Hospital for 11 years, I will just run away, because either they will harm my child or I will kill them.

With love, journalist and presenter Lilit Aghajanyan
