Black Ice in the Saravan Mountain Pass: Road Conditions Update

The Ministry of Transport, Communication, and Information Technologies of Armenia reports that as of 10:00 AM today, there are spots of black ice in the Saravan Mountain Pass.

The Vardenyats Mountain Pass, from the Martuni side, is impassable for heavy and trailer vehicles.

All inter-state and republican highways in Armenia are open.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of 09:00 AM, there are spots of black ice on the highways of the Shirak region, particularly in the Ashotsk and Amasia areas, as well as on the Aparan-Aragats, Spitak-Vanadzor, and Vanadzor-Alaverdi routes.

The Stepanavan-Lars highway is open only for light passenger vehicles. On the Russian side, there are 158 trucks, 79 passenger cars, and 1 bus waiting.
