Second Individual Arrested for Obstructing the Movement of Recruit Bus

Second individual has been arrested on suspicion of obstructing the movement of a bus transporting recruits.

The Investigative Committee reports that on January 8, a bus with military number 3299 T, model "Paz 32053", transporting recruits from the Nairi division of the Ministry of Defense's Kotayk regional office to the central gathering site of the Ministry of Defense, was deliberately stopped by a group of individuals on Sharouri Street in Yerevan, thereby grossly violating public order and showing blatant disrespect towards society.

On January 9, 2019, at 15:30, a resident of Kotayk region, 39-year-old G. Hakhobyan, was arrested under the features of part 3 of article 258 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, while the other participant in the incident, 27-year-old M. Voskanian, was arrested at 18:15.

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
