Sick Children Should Not Be Sent to Kindergarten or School: Arsen Torosyann
“I just spoke with my Georgian counterpart David Sergeenko regarding the incidence of acute respiratory infections in their country. He informed me that the situation is under control and corresponds to the seasonal trends,” wrote Acting Minister of Health Arsen Torosyann on his Facebook page.
According to him, his Georgian counterpart indicated that there is already a trend of declining infections there. Torosyann assures that the relevant agencies of both countries are in constant communication and take necessary anti-epidemic measures when needed.
“I urge anyone who falls ill to visit their local polyclinic, and also to refrain from sending sick children to kindergarten or school, so that they can recover and not infect others. By doing so, we will prevent the further spread of acute respiratory infections,” the acting minister wrote.
