Police Officers to Accompany Draft Transport Vehicles

To prevent incidents related to the transportation of conscripts, following yesterday's event, police officers will now accompany vehicles transporting conscripts as ordered by the Chief of the Armenian Police.

This was reported by the Armenian Police. Citizens are urged to provide necessary assistance to police officers maintaining public order when needed.

Recall that yesterday, a military-plated bus transporting conscripts from the Nairi division of the Kotayk regional military enlistment office to the central assembly point of the Ministry of Defense was stopped by a group of individuals, who deliberately and grossly violated public order, displaying blatant disrespect toward the society. A criminal case has been initiated in the Military Police of the Ministry of Defense under Article 258, Part 3, Clause 1 of the Armenian Penal Code, concerning this incident.
