Azerbaijanis Provoked Brawl in Kazakhstan: New Details
It has already been reported that on the night of December 31 to January 1, a dispute occurred in one of the restaurants in Kazakhstan, which ended in a stabbing incident resulting in the death of a 23-year-old man and injuries to three others. Three men have been arrested in connection with the brawl and murder: Kair Nadirbekov, Torgom Malkhasyan, and Sokhak Malkhasyan. A national search has been announced for Narek Gururyan.
New details about the clashes that began in Kazakhstan have emerged, according to Irakanum.am. It has been reported that Azerbaijanis provoked the clashes. Specifically, they entered an establishment owned by a criminal figure of Armenian descent known as Kyazh and initiated a dispute. The Azerbaijanis, seeing that Armenians and Kazakhs were interacting amicably, remarked, “What are you doing with those Armenians?” In response, the Kazakhs agreed, which escalated into a heated argument. To avoid having the names of Azerbaijan's criminal figures circulate, they quickly departed, after which the brawl continued between the Armenians and Kazakhs.
Notably, Armenian-owned establishments in Kazakhstan are currently closed and under special surveillance during these days.
