Updated: Roads in Armenia

The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technologies of the Republic of Armenia informs that as of December 27 at 15:00, snow is falling on the roads of the regions of Tashir, Ashotsk, Akhuryan, Artik, Aparan, Stepanavan, and on the Artashavan section of the road.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technologies, there is a snowstorm on the roads of the Ashotsk region, as well as on the Artik-Aragats and Kuchak-Aparan-Mirak sections.

On the roads of the Sevan region and in the Vardenyats Pass, there are places with black ice. The Vardenyats Pass is impassable for passenger vehicles due to the blizzard, while it is closed for heavy and trailer vehicles.

Road construction workers are carrying out cleaning and spreading of salt and sand on the roads. Other interstate and republican roads are open.
