Arsen Torosyan Initiates New Intrigues

According to the newspaper 'Zhoghovurd', an interesting situation has emerged within the Government of Armenia. Arsen Torosyan, the acting Minister of Health, has launched an attack against the nominations presented by Araik Harutyunyan, the acting Minister of Education and Science, regarding personnel changes.

Specifically, the Ministry of Education has proposed a list of names to replace members of the Board of Trustees of the Yerevan State Medical University, including Hranush Hakobyan, Ara Babloyan, and others. The proposed candidacy of Vahan Artsruni, a founding figure and physician-songwriter, for the position of worthy president of the board has been particularly welcomed within the medical university.

However, this act of independence does not sit well with Arsen Torosyan, whose associates have even rejected Vahan Artsruni with offensive remarks.

It should be reminded that acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has repeatedly emphasized the imperative of keeping higher education institutions distant from officials and political parties, stressing their need to remain apolitical. However, it seems that his message is not as comprehensible to the youth.
