They Don't Treat a War Survivor Like That: Manvel Grigoryan's Daughter Speaks
“To be honest, I don't think those are from Echmiadzin. You can investigate yourself and see; if they are from Echmiadzin, I have nothing to say. If that's what they want, what can I say?”
This was stated by Manvel Grigoryan's daughter, Judge Naira Grigoryan of the Court of General Jurisdiction of Ararat Province, in an interview with ArmDaily.am, referring to the protests held in Echmiadzin.
“Honestly, I can't say who is directing them, but it's naturally evident that they are guided. Nobody can do that without direction. First of all, he does not stay in Echmiadzin, he is in his private house at Lake Akna. A person in such a state of mind cannot act like that; you don’t treat a person who has survived a war like that, as they are doing. Although history repeats itself, people do not appreciate their living heroes,” she noted.
It is noteworthy that a few days ago, former MP Manvel Grigoryan was released from detention on bail of 25 million drams, which was followed by protest actions.
