Pashinyan on Early Parliamentary Elections
The Acting Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has addressed the results of the early parliamentary elections on his Facebook page.
He specifically mentions in his post:
“For the first time, the results of parliamentary elections will not be contested in the Constitutional Court. Since it seems to have gone unrecorded, I find it necessary to emphasize. The reference point is the year 1996, when the Constitutional Court was established.
Since then, the results of all parliamentary elections have been contested in the Constitutional Court. The early parliamentary elections of 2018 were the only exception.”
