General Manvel Does Not Move from the Akna Village Area: Defense Attorney

The Prosecutor's Office lacked the prudence to appeal against the justified decision to release Manvel Grigoryan on bail. They operate under the approach of 'let's close it, kill it, then let the state pay'. This was stated by Arsen Mkrtchyan, the defense attorney of Manvel Grigoryan, in an interview with Tert.am, commenting on the Prosecutor's decision to file a cassation appeal against the change of preventive measure for Manvel Grigoryan.

When asked whether Manvel Grigoryan is able to leave the premises of his residence in Akna Village, Arsen Mkrtchyan noted that currently, his health does not allow him to come and go, but in this regard, he believes there are no limitations, and the issue is solely related to his health condition.

According to Arsen Mkrtchyan, 'the majority of Armenian citizens welcoming Manvel Grigoryan and supporting the change of preventive measure are happy, adequate, and normal'. He added that the former MP is having meetings with various people.
