Against Apartment Burglars: Osipyan Orders Work Without Breaks

On December 23, Chief of Police Valery Osipyan held a working consultation with the heads of the Yerevan Police Department and its subordinate divisions. This was reported by the police.

Valery Osipyan, analyzing the crime trends recorded in recent months, emphasized that the prevention and investigation of these crimes cannot rest solely on the shoulders of criminal investigation units, and therefore, he instructed the heads of external services to take practical steps to enhance preventive measures.

Osipyan particularly stressed the importance of preventing and solving cases of apartment burglaries. In order to increase the effectiveness of preventive work, he ordered the enhancement of night patrol services. To improve the effectiveness of investigations, the Chief of Police instructed to freely utilize the powers granted to the police by law, and to implement appropriate measures within the framework of operational investigative activities.

At the end of the meeting, Valery Osipyan strictly instructed both his deputies and the heads of divisions to work even without breaks to achieve visible results in a short period of time.
