Vardenyats Pass Closed, Fog on Some Roads

The Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technology reports that as of December 21 at 3:00 PM, it is snowing at the Vardenyats Pass.

There is fog on the roads of Goris and in the Dilijan turns, with visibility reduced to 50-60 meters. There are patches of black ice at the Vardenyats Pass. The pass is closed for heavy-duty and towed vehicles.

Other inter-state and domestic roads in Armenia are open.
