Difficult Access Roads in Armenia Due to Black Ice
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia reports that as of December 21 at 09:10, there are difficult access roads across the country.
The Vardenyats Pass is currently impassable.
There are patches of black ice on the Sotk-Karvachar road.
In the Syunik region and along the Saravan-Zanger road (located in the Vayots Dzor region), snowfall is present.
Fog is observed in the Dilijan twists, on the Goris-Kapan road in Syunik region, and in Goris city.
Drivers are advised to travel in the regions exclusively with winter tires.
According to information from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Stepantsminda-Larsi road is open for all types of vehicles.
Information from the North Ossetia Republic of the Russian Federation's Ministry of Emergency Situations indicates that there are accumulated vehicles on the Russian side.
