Severe Winter Expected in 4 Days, Says Gagik Surenyán

A severe winter is expected after December 27. Gagik Surenyán, head of the Meteorological Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia, made this announcement on his Facebook page.

“People, a severe winter is coming after the 27th,” Surenyán wrote.

Earlier, the Ministry of Emergency Situations informed that from December 24-26, the temperature will drop by 4-5 degrees Celsius.

No precipitation is expected on December 23 and during the night of the 24th and the day of the 25th. However, during the day on the 24th, and from the 26th to the 27th, significant precipitation and fog are anticipated in many areas, with snow expected in mountainous and foothill regions.
