Pashinyan to Visit Moscow: Vladimir Putin

Armenia is Russia's closest partner in the South Caucasus. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during his annual press conference in response to a journalist's question about how Russia plans to restore its relations with Armenia after the parliamentary elections.

“We have nothing that has broken and needs restoration. Armenia is our strategic partner in the region and globally, and a member of the CSTO and EAEU. We must develop what we have,” Putin declared.

The Russian president also announced that Armenia's Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will visit Russia in the coming week. However, he did not clarify the specific dates of the visit.
