No Foreign Military Personnel Will Be in Armenia's Biolaboratory: Zakharova
The recent interview of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, characterized by its highly emotional nature and constant interruptions in responses, was a misrepresentation. For this reason, the Russian side later published a transcript with clarifications.
This was announced by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, during a meeting with reporters when addressing a question about the document to be signed between Armenia and Russia.
Zakharova elaborated that the agreement would require the Armenian side to ensure that military personnel from other countries would not be present in American biolaboratories located in Armenia. However, since Lavrov referred to the biolaboratories simply as 'there', confusion arose, initially in the Russian media and later in the Armenian press, which interpreted it as excluding foreign military personnel from Armenia.
