I Will Resign Right Now: Osipyan

The Head of the Armenian Police, Valery Osipyan, refutes reports claiming that the authorities in Prague managed to locate Narek Sargsyan, the son of Alexander Sargsyan, brother of the third president, with the assistance of the criminal figure known as 'Zap.'

'If anyone can prove that the police collaborated with a criminal figure on this matter, I will resign right now from my high-ranking state position,' the police chief stated during a conversation with reporters while responding to their questions.

He emphasized that the oversight of criminal figures in Armenia is currently stronger than ever before. The police chief also denied reports that a large number of criminal figures had recently visited Armenia, responding to criticisms that under the current authorities, there is still unrestricted entry for criminal elements into the country.
