Pashinyan on Levon Mnatsakanyan's Dismissal

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, in a conversation with journalists today in Dilijan, declined to comment on the dismissal of former Artsakh Minister of Defense Levon Mnatsakanyan due to certain circumstances.

Referring to suggestions that Mnatsakanyan's dismissal could affect the army's combat readiness, Pashinyan responded:

“That is a very poor commentary on our army, because both newly appointed officials are veterans of the defense army, individuals who have served their entire lives in the armed forces and are at the roots of the Artsakh Liberation War.”
