Pashinyan Denies Lavrov's Statement

The new government of Armenia has not discussed the issue of the absence of foreign military personnel in the territory of bio-laboratories with Russia. This was stated today in Dilijan by the acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, during a meeting with journalists.

“Recently, Lavrov's statement has been under discussion. No such issues have been discussed during our government,” he said.

In response to the question of whether they are preparing to sign an agreement, he noted that it is necessary to discuss with Lavrov what the terms of the agreement are.

It should be noted that Lavrov has announced that Moscow and Yerevan are currently preparing a document that is supposed to guarantee the absence of foreign military personnel in Armenia.

When asked if Armenia is considering the prospect of acquiring American weapons, Pashinyan replied: “Bolton came, an offer was made. That was a statement, but we do not see any specific opportunity or proposal at the moment.”
