No Ministry of Diaspora: Nikol Pashinyan
Today, Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan addressed the future composition of the government in Dilijan, stating that there will not be many surprises in terms of ministerial appointments.
Pashinyan emphasized the high likelihood that there will not be a Ministry of Diaspora in the new government structure.
"We are currently in the discussion phase. Our most important issue is to achieve a more efficient level of governance within the state administration system, including our relations with the diaspora. Yes, there is such a possibility, and the likelihood is quite high that we will not have a Ministry of Diaspora in the new government structure, but that does not mean we won’t effectively strengthen those connections through other entities," he noted.
It is worth recalling that we previously announced that changes are expected in the government structure soon. The number of ministries will be optimized, and the merging of several ministries and the dissolution of the Ministry of Diaspora are being discussed.
