From Tomorrow, Right-Hand Drive Vehicles Can Be Imported With Steering Wheel Adjustment Conditions

The Deputy Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies of Armenia, Armen Pambukhchyan, announced on his Facebook page that starting tomorrow, it will be possible to import right-hand drive vehicles under certain conditions.

"Dear citizens, starting from December 20, you can import right-hand drive vehicles with the condition of adjusting the steering wheel.

Vehicles with right-side steering can be imported into the territory of Armenia until March 1, 2019, under the customs procedure of 'Processing for Internal Consumption.'

This customs procedure will allow vehicles with right-side steering systems to be imported into the territory of Armenia without reconfiguration. Within six months of being in Armenia, the steering wheel can be relocated in accordance with the Armenian legislation. After customs clearance, they can be registered with the Armenian police and freely operated within the territory of Armenia," he wrote.
