Armenia Recognized as 'Country of the Year' by The Economist

The British publication The Economist has recognized Armenia as the 'Country of the Year'.

It is noteworthy that the prestigious title is awarded not to the richest, most influential, or countries with the most exquisite cuisine, but rather takes into account the progress made by a country over the past year.

Which country has changed for the better in the past 12 months? According to the esteemed media outlet, it is Armenia this time.

Highlighting that determining the winner was a rather difficult choice for them, The Economist notes that good work during the year does not guarantee unequivocal success in the future. For example, last year's winner France is currently dealing with widespread protests and unrest, while Myanmar, the 2015 winner, recently experienced a 'bloody' regression.
