Tragic Accident in Gyumri: Victims and Injured Are Family Members

Today, around 01:20 AM in the Shirak region, Gyumri resident 54-year-old Aristakes Kocharyan, while driving his Opel Astra, veered off the roadway and crashed into the wall of an unoccupied house near the 'ARGO' shop in the Boulevard district of Gyumri. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, driver A. Kocharyan and his passenger, 46-year-old Zhanna Kocharyan, died at the scene, while other passengers, 22-year-old Tatevik and 21-year-old Arevik Kocharyan, were transferred to the Gyumri Medical Center. Additionally, 20-year-old Lusine and 11-year-old Misha Kocharyan were taken to the Austrian Children's Hospital in Gyumri. According to the reporter's information, the health condition of M. and A. Kocharyan was assessed as serious, while L. and T. Kocharyan's condition was considered satisfactory. Those gathered at the scene said that the deceased and the injured were family members.
