The Accident Was Caused by Another Car Driver: Spitak Hayko Provides Details

Singer Spitak Hayko has released a video message addressing the well-known accident that resulted in a fatality.

He specifically stated, "The accident was caused by another car driver, and I passed by that road moments later. The investigation is not about me, but rather regarding the driver who caused the accident. I am a witness in this case. All my concerts will go on as planned."

It is noted that on December 14, law enforcement discovered the driver who had left the scene after hitting a pedestrian twice on Khanchyan Street, near Vernissage.

The driver was identified as 46-year-old Haikaram Ghevondyan, known to the public as singer Spitak Hayko, while the car was a Range Rover Stratstone. It was also revealed that the Kia was driven by 43-year-old Arayik Ch., who serves in the RA Ministry of Defense's N military unit. The deceased was a 68-year-old resident of Yerevan, Khnarik Petikyan.

Both drivers were released on bail.
