Difficult Roads in the Republic: Travel to Regions Exclusively with Winter Tires

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia reports that as of December 16, at 09:00, there are challenging road conditions across the country.

The Vardenyats Pass is open only for passenger vehicles.

In the Shirak region, there are spots of black ice on the Jajur curve, as well as on the Tsaghkadzor-Aparan and Tsaghkadzor-Artik roads.

Drivers are advised to travel to the regions exclusively with winter tires.

According to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Stepantsminda-Larsi road is also open only for passenger vehicles.

Additionally, information from the North Ossetia branch of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations indicates that there are amassed vehicles on the Russian side.
