Numerous People Deported from Germany to Armenia: "Patst"

According to the newspaper "Patst," a significant number of people have recently been deported from the Federal Republic of Germany to Armenia. Most of them were families who had sold their homes and properties in Armenia years ago and moved to Europe with the hope of obtaining refugee status and settling in one of the European countries.

Nelly Davtyan, the spokesperson for the Migration Service, commented on the recent increase in deportations from European countries in a conversation with "Patst." She noted that there has indeed been a rise in such cases lately, which is attributed to the political processes and changes occurring in Armenia.

"Our compatriots seeking refugee status in European countries must present valid grounds. Given that our country, especially after the recent political changes, is classified among safe countries, and that there is an increase in the level of democracy, such applications are therefore considered unfounded. As a result, people continue to stay illegally in various European countries, but sooner or later they are subject to return," said Davtyan.
