Blizzard on the Road from Sevan Peninsula to Dilijan Tunnel

The Ministry of Transport, Communication, and Information Technologies of Armenia reports that as of December 14 at 09:30, there are icy conditions in the Goris-Sisian, Artik-Aragats, and Vedi-Lanjarr road sections, as well as in the Sisian "Zanger" area and on the Jermuk roads, with spots of black ice in the Saravani and Vardenyats mountain passes.

A blizzard is occurring on the road from Sevan Peninsula to the Dilijan Tunnel. Due to the blizzard and poor visibility, the Vardenyats mountain pass is closed.

Road construction teams are engaged in clearing the roads and applying salt and sand.

All other interstate and republican roads in Armenia are open.
