As reported by Artsakhpress, the giant Jengyalov bread made in the Hadrut region has been recorded in Armenia's "Book of Records."

The record-setting dish was prepared in 1 hour and 30 minutes, with the participation of 8 people. For the preparation of Jengyalov bread, 26 types of greens that grow only in Artsakh were used.

A special oven was built to bake the bread according to its dimensions.

The initiative for the baking of Jengyalov bread was led by the Department of Culture and Youth Affairs of the Hadrut District Administration, with direct support from district head Ivan Avanesyan.

The goal is to highlight the value of a traditional dish from the Artsakh cuisine.
