Fire in a Stepanavan Apartment: Casualties Reported

On December 11, at 06:33, the "911" service received a report of a fire that had broken out in one of the apartments of building number 3 in the Ashotaberd neighborhood of Stepanavan, Lori Province.

Two fire-rescue teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene.

It was established that the fire started in one of the apartments of the two-story wooden building in the Ashotaberd neighborhood.

Rescuers retrieved the bodies of V. H. (born in 1982) and A. B. (born in 1959) from the apartment, while D. H. (born in 1992) and G. G. (born in 2006) were transported to the Stepanavan Medical Center, where D. H. also succumbed to injuries.

The fire was contained at 07:15 and completely extinguished by 07:25. The fire caused damage to the wardrobe, bed, and flooring, affecting an area of approximately 10 square meters.
