Snow and Fog on Several Highways of the Republic

As of December 10 at 09:30, snow is falling on the highways of the Hrazdan region. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies of the Republic of Armenia. Fog is observed on the highways of Kotayk, Baghramyan, and Kapan, with visibility reduced to 50-100 meters. There are patches of black ice on the Vardenyats Pass, making it difficult for heavy and articulated vehicles to pass.

According to information from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs' Emergency Situations Agency, the Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is open to all types of vehicles. However, information from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations' North Ossetia branch indicates that there are accumulated vehicles on the Russian side.
