More Than 300,000 Residents Left Without Power Due to Snowstorm in the U.S.

A severe snowstorm is wreaking havoc in the southeastern U.S., resulting in the cancellation of nearly 1,700 flights and leaving more than 300,000 residents without power. Most of the power outages have been reported in North Carolina, where over 183,000 outages have occurred.

According to Flight Aware, as of Sunday evening, approximately 1,700 flights were canceled due to the adverse weather conditions in the U.S. Many of these flights were headed to North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. In total, over 2,100 flights across the country have been delayed.
