Video: Elderly Woman Given Paper Indicating Candidate from RPA by 'Headquarters' - Media
A disturbance was reported in electoral district number 27/28 of Charentsavan, writes Hetq.am.
“Before entering the polling station, the elderly woman took a piece of paper out of a folded newspaper in the corridor of the kindergarten building, read it, put the paper back in the newspaper, and went inside.
Approaching the voting booth, she took out the paper from her pocket again, read it, and made her selection. We are publishing the video,” the media reported.
After exiting the polling station, attempts were made to clarify what paper she had kept in her pocket. Initially, the grandmother said she had no paper with her, but then, irritated, she took the paper out of her pocket and said that it had been given to her by “the headquarters.” When asked which headquarters and who had given it to her, she refused to answer, becoming upset and agitated by the questions. A red mark was noted next to the name of RPA candidate Mnatsakan Marat Poghosyan on the paper.
Police have now arrived at the polling station.
