One Dead and One Injured in Homemade Heater Explosion

A tragic incident occurred in the Armavir region on December 6, around 7:00 PM. The police received a call from the emergency medical center reporting that a response team had been dispatched to the village of Musaler, where a deceased individual was found in one of the houses on Tigran Mets 1st Street.

According to Shamshyan.com, police and investigators determined that the deceased, identified as 42-year-old Sargis H., died on the spot due to the explosion of a homemade heater under still unspecified circumstances. Additionally, another resident of the same house, 61-year-old Azatouhi A., was hospitalized with burns diagnosed on the right side of her face, classified as 1st and 2nd degree.

In connection with the incident, materials are being prepared at the Vagharshapat Investigative Division, and several expert examinations, including forensic medical evaluations, have been commissioned.
