Narek Sargsyan, the son of Alexander Sargsyan, brother of former Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, has been discovered. This was reported by the Police of the Republic of Armenia.

Through extensive operational and investigative measures, various divisions of the police, in cooperation with law enforcement agencies from several European countries and Interpol, discovered Narek Alexandri Sargsyan in Prague on December 6, who was wanted internationally by the Armenian authorities. At the time of his discovery, he presented a fake Guatemalan passport under the name Franklin Gonzalez.

The information regarding the apprehension of the wanted individual has been forwarded to the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia to facilitate the extradition process.

It should be noted that a criminal case was initiated on June 26 concerning illegal acquisition, sale, possession, transportation, or carrying of weapons, ammunition, explosives, or explosive devices, and the illegal circulation of drugs, psychoactive substances, and their precursors.

On July 6, Narek Sargsyan was declared wanted, and on July 24, he was placed on the international wanted list.

The police reiterated that there are no undiscovered crimes or missing wanted individuals when the primary objective is the implementation of justice, supported by a professional and diligent police system.
